Thank you Lord for letting me see your wonderfulness all around me.
1. The leaves falling from the trees. ( I love how the leaves change colors and fall from the trees so gracefully )
2. A white butterfly fluttering by.
3. Watching the kids in our school swinging themselves on the swing, how proud they are of themselves.
4. The water rushing through the creek.
5. The squeals from our guinea pigs when they are hungry or wanting attention.
6. The smell of homemade cookies.. It reminds me of my mom :)
7. Watching my family devour the cookies
8. The dinner prayer. It can sometimes be more thoughtful then the bed time pray.
9. Hearing the neighbors kids jump on the bed and onto the floor. It makes me not feel so bad when my son does that.
10. Knowing that I am not alone.
He is your praise, and he is your God, who has done for you these great and awesome things which your eyes have seen ... Deuteronomy 10:21
Have a wonderful day tomorrow..

Blessings plus day 4
Well I did not blog yesterday. I was being lazy, vegging out with my kids. Watching TV, playing games, and just enjoying every moment with them. We really don't get the opportunity to do this because we a pretty much on the go during our weekends or we have friends and family here. It was nice just relaxing and taking in the moments of my children.
1. Watching Hannah and Nathaniel playing super Mario on the Wii and having a load of fun and getting along.
2. Nathaniel interacting with Hannah. Helping her use the controller of the Wii and telling her " you did good sissy"
3. Finishing the school art project.
4. My son petting the kittens and giving them kisses while sleeping.
5. The cutest thing is to watch my daughter try and motivate her brother into doing something that she wants him to do and he is not wanting to do it.
6. Finding my kids snuggled up to each other while sleeping. (they remind me of baby kittens or puppies all cuddled up together)
7. Getting all the laundry done...folded and put away.
8. My dog Jessie when she looks at me just before she gets her treat.. It makes me laugh knowing how excited she gets.
9. Doughnuts from the Source
10. Watching my kid especially Nathaniel during worship.. They really love to sing the worship songs.. They love church.
I pray that you all had a wonderful weekend and that you have a wonderful week. May the Lord continue to bless you and your family.

Blessings plus day 3
Today I had a very hard time seeing my blessings. I did not have a very good day today. Maybe because I did not sleep good and I woke up tired, and the kids in my class were off the hook. I tried to make the best of it but it did not work. My frustrations just got in the way. Just as I was giving up on finding just one blessing, my blessing came to me while I was talking to my friend Ruth in the form of a little girl crying. As strange as this may sound it is true. So here is my blessings for today.
1.Hair in the mouth.
2. Every morning when my son gets ups he always tells me the month, the date and the day of the week. and then he says good morning mom.
3. When I picked up my daughter from school she asked me how my day was... I told her she said " mommy I love you!! is that a blessing?"
4. When my sister calls me and leaves me a message that says " hey was just thinking about you hope you are okay, love you"
5. My Life Group
6. Frozen yogurt and or Ice cream it makes me feel like a kid.
7. The sweet way Hannah told me how she told everyone in her class my age (50) and then she said no one believed her because I looked 39 or something. (I love those kids)
8. The way my kids love to camp out on my living room floor.
9. Getting into my warm cozy pjs
10. The bed to myself.
No matter how hard your day, no matter what you might be going through, you can always find a blessing or two. Thank you Lord for helping me look beyond my frustrations so I don't miss the blessings that you have for me and my family.. Lets see what tomorrows will be.

Blessings plus day 2
Well here I am on my second day of my blessing plus blog. I find it quit interesting how many blessings I have in a day. Some are as simple as little feet running and others more complex like the rays of the sun coming through the clouds. As I reflect on the day and thank God for all my blessings, I am reminded once again how wonderful and awesome God is and how grateful I am that He is in my life and my family's life.
1. My son pulling the covers over his head and asking for 5 more minutes
2. My 13 yr. old asking me to do her hair.
3. My kittens curiosity about everything.
4. Pastor Yohn doing chapel every Thursday with our pre-schoolers.
5. The sound of the rain.
6. Getting a bunch of leaves and being told that they are your flower because we love you.
7. Running into an old friend and catching up on our lives.
8. The Sound of a new born baby's cry
9. Paying all the bills and having money left.
10. Listening to my kids pray.
Well these are my 10 for tonight. I pray that God has blessed you as much as he has blessed me.

God gives us strength
Wow can you believe that it is already November? Time sure goes by fast. School has been in for 9 weeks already (that is 45 days).
Everything was going so well for both of my kids. Some of the normal stuff for Hannah... not doing all of her assignments or just not turning them in on time. Working so slow and for Hannah that can be pretty normal. She works slow until she understands what she is doing.
Nathaniel well he was doing really good. He was going into the cafeteria everyday for lunch and going to the assembles. All going so great until this last week when they had a fire drill. The fire drill was not so bad. He had a small melt down but over came it like a champ. It was the next day when he was in the bathroom and an emergency bell went off scared him half to death. The school called me because he was screaming and refusing to stop crying for over an hour. He had a hard time going back to class and calming down. Even when I was talking to him on phone he would not calm down. I call my husband and said go get Nathaniel he is having a melt down. I explained what happen. He went and got him. When Robert got there Nathaniel was calm and eating lunch with the teacher, all the other kids had gone to lunch and it was just him and the teacher. Nathaniel was eating lunch and was reading a book. Since then Nathaniel refuses to go into the cafeteria for lunch he wants to eat in the classroom or the office with the V. Principal I am at a lost of what to do. He is afraid and does not want to go in there. So everyday we pray and talk about being brave and unafraid and that God is with him and will take good care of him. Everyday he says okay he is going to brave, well we are still praying. Any suggestions would be great.
Some days are more challenging then others, but I would not trade then for the world.
Hannah she is so good. She is 13 and can be a little mouthy and have a little attitude that makes me wish I could turn her into a 7 yrs. old again ...Lol But I love when she reminds me that I am not alone, God will help me get through this for he is our strength and our Rock. Call out to him and he will be there. Do you love it??? Who can ask for a better Daughter then that..
Until the next time..
