Today I started my 2 weeks vacation and it did not go as planned. One of the things that I had planned was to limit the time Nathaniel could play his games. Nathaniel is my electronic game player. He will play them all day, from the moment he wakes up until he goes to bed if he could have his way. Today we limited them to1 hour of computer, and 1 hour of the DS game, and 1 hour of any other game of his choice. He had to use his choice board to make other choices and he did not like that.
I felt so bad for him. School will be starting again, and playing games all day will not be happening.
The other plan was to find a park with a good hiking place and take them hiking. Well that did not go well either. One melt down led to another, so we gave up and will try again tomorrow.
My daughter is an angel she was disappointed about not going hiking, however she made the best of it. She got Nathaniel playing a game of Sorry and then they played with water balloons. What fun they had.
Well tomorrow is another day and I pray that day will be so much better.

Welcome to my first blog.
Where there is always Love is inspired by my son Nathaniel who is autistic. He is so special and wonderful. My daughter Hannah who lights up my heart with her love for everything.
My Husband Robert who is there beside me through this journey. I don't know what I would do without him.
I pray that as I share my thoughts, experiences my ups, my downs, my joys and my sorrows. That others will be touched and inspired maybe even helped in there own journey of life.
May the Lord bless you as he has blessed me.
